Keeping with the sewing theme I wanted to give some of the advanced sewers a goodie to win! This is a gorgeous book by Celine Dupuy. The photography is definite eye candy - along with the photos she has project recipes. Most of the projects are fairly easy but I don't think all of them are for the true beginner.
There are some wonderful 'nesting' projects just for you. Like this simple robe with just the right amount of detail. Celine Dupuy has a wonderful eye for the details and choosing the right pattern fabric for the project.
I have yet to tackle this dog umbrella (not really for dogs) but I know Jesse would like one of his own!
